EMErGE /i-ˈmərj/: TO Come Into Being

Emerge is InterVarsity Southeast’s annual Asian American student conference. As we gather students from different backgrounds and campuses, we long to cultivate a space to explore the complexities of our identity and faith in Jesus.

Through gathering together as a community to study scripture, engage in worship, and discussions we long to come away with a clearer view of ourselves and who Jesus is. Fun and food are also essential parts of this journey!

Come & Eat

We’ll dive into this theme in John chapter 21 and as we engage God's word through insightful speakers and deep small group discussions, We'll examine the complicated and beautiful way that Jesus meets a group of tired and weary disciples and look at how we might receive Jesus love, care and commission today.

Meet our Speaker!

Mikee is on her 6th year of staff (5th at Texas A&M University). She works with their Asian American Chapter and is planting their multi-ethnic chapter — and loves doing so. She enjoys talking and spending quality time with her friends. Obsessions of hers include folding laundry, the color pink, and reading books.
